Everything But The Elote Crispy Chickpeas

Chickpeas have been my JAM lately. Probably a month ago I made a fresh batch of crispy chick peas & I fell in love with them all over again. Simply to snack on, well addicting AF, easy to add veg protein to like ANYTHING, and just straight scrumptious. This @traderjoes everything but the elote came out a little while ago so of course I had to try it, I’ve been using it lots, but these babies are MONEY. Use them for literally whatever you want, & just know it’s okay to eat the entire batch throughout the day by yourself.. 🙃 Cheers to finding your new jam 🥂

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas (these are @goode_foods )

  • drizzle olive oil

  • @traderjoes everything but the elote. *these are VERY versatile you can use any of your favorites! I love just garlic & chili powder, taco seasoning, cumin & chipotle powder, lemon pepper just to share a few!

How To:

  1. preheat oven to 400 & line a baking sheet

  2. drain, rinse & dry chickpeas (you can use as many cans as you want)

  3. toss in olive oil so all are lightly coated (this helps with crisp)

  4. spread on baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through

  5. remove from the oven & add your favorite seasoning! You wait and add it at the end so the flavors don’t get burnt from the heat!
