Toasty Caprese Stacks with Avocado

Let’s talk appetizers. Truly, you can never have enough & I’d eat 6 apps for a meal vs an entree most of the time! But falling into making the same app alllllll the time can make me bored, so - why not level up something simple? Pro tip - always keep a loaf of Italian or French bread in your freezer, it defrosts quick & garlicy toasties go with virtually anything. Cheers to leveling up the appetizer game!

Ingredients & How To

preheat oven to 375
slice bread into ~1 inch slices (can do thinner or skip it for lower carb!) & place on a baking sheet (1 layer with space between)
drizzle with EVOO & sprinkle with garlic powder on both sides - bake in oven ~7/8 min per side or until Golden (you want crispy crust & soft middle!)
slice tomatoes into discs & then in half’s (my baguette had smaller pieces that half’s fit best) & avocados into very thin slices but cut them horizontally (smaller slices!)
stack 🥖 + 🍅 + 🧀 + 🥑 - sprinkle with fresh s&p and finish with balsamic glaze!
