The Simplest Salad

THE SIMPLEST SALAD OF ALL TIME. Yes, I said it. Of ALL time. There are a million reasons this salad is SO GOOD. Use it as a delicious side, bulk it up to make a protein packed meal - YOU DECIDE! This is one of my favorite salads for sure. And I am sure you’re thinking “who likes enough salads to have a favorite?” Well, I for a fact actually do like salads, and you, for a fact, are just having LAME SALADS, if you don’t like them or have a favorite. simple salad necessities:

  • baby arugula

  • 1 lemon

  • olive oil

  • grated or shaved parm cheese

  • s&p

  • 🍤I added grilled shrimp seasoned with @traderjoes lemon pepper! It’s SO good and fresh. Salmon would be a great option as well as chicken or garbanzo beans! Get creative, it’s simple, use it as a canvas!

how to:

In a large bowl, add arugula + enough olive oil for a light coat. Add juice of 1/2 lemon + cheese + s&p. Toss! Eat as is as a side for any entree or top with some of your favorite protein!

My shrimp was cooked 3/4 minute per side on my stovetop @marthastewart grill!
