Never Fail Turkey Burgers

So in the food world of A Toast For Taste - this turkey burger seems like it would be a celeb. THE LOVE on this was real && now I’m here to share. No paparazzi please ~ I love a good turkey burger && truly you can make it your own! Salad bowl - on a fresh bun - BYOB. Build your own BURGER 😏 Cheers to YOU GUYS for giving this Turkey Burger the love it deserves🥂

Ingredients:

For 4 burgers for normal people OR 3 if you’re Peter/need an oversized patty:

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3ish cup breadcrumbs or panko

  • 1-4 cup chopped red onion

  • good healthy shake of garlic powder

  • touch of crushed red pepper

  • lots of fresh ground salt & pepper

  • OPTIONAL: 1/4 cup feta cheese

 

How To:

  1. add all the ingredients to a large bowl & combine WITH YOUR HANDS!

  2. evenly divide the turkey into 4 parts- roll into balls & flatten into patties (put some olive oil on your hands so they don’t stick!)

  3. let them sit 10 mins or so to let the breadcrumbs do their work, the mixture seems super mushy to start but once the breadcrumbs soak in the moisture it is more similar to burger meat!

  4. slap em on the grill! We did about 6 minutes each side because these were THICC~ so if you do 4 patties I would recommend 4-5 each side

  5. build the darn thing! I did pepper jack cheese and added it on top of massaged kale with honey mustard. Peter did a lovely bun with pepper jack cheese + @officialchikfila sauce + @franksredhot Buffalo sauce!
    HOWEVER YOU BURGER IS RIGHT!
