Homemade Guacamole

Having some good snacks on hand is key! Guac is a great fresh dip to have for dipping your favorite chip (been LOVING the @traderjoes elote flavored corn chips!) or veggies - I’m a big fan of the baby carrot or cucumber slices! And I mean you can make a burrito bowl, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas (check the recipe I posted a few weeks ago!) and a side of guac is the perfect touch! Such a feel good dip bc you know avocados - healthy fats and whatnot, right 🤷‍♀️Cheers to happily ever snacking! 🥂

For The Guac:

For 2 Cups:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 10 cherry tomatoes (chopped small)

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped if no cilantro, extra lime!

  • ~1/4 cup diced red onion

  • juice of 1/2-1 lime

  • sprinkle garlic powder

  • sprinkle @traderjoes chili lime seasoning

  • S&P to taste

**1/2 jalapeño (totally optional!) if you like a little spice!

Make The Guac:

  1. carefully cut open & remove the pits from the 🥑, scoop out the insides from the skin into a big bowl

  2. chop tomatoes + red onion + jalapeño (if using!) and add to the bowl

  3. add juice of lime + seasoning + cilantro and mash with a fork!

  4. dip a chip and enjoy! Or top a bowl or a quesadilla or.. shamelessly eat it with a spoon
