BLT Salad

BLT but made it...a salad?? YUP so crunchy so crispy, smokey bacon, spicy pepper jack cheese, really where can you go wrong? Spun this up for Super Bowl but is amazing anytime! Simple for the summer, a little fun take on a comforting sandy in the winter. Best of both worlds right here! Highly recommend giving this a go, don’t miss out on adding @whispssnacks as croutons.... it changes the whole concept & and makes this salad next level awesome. Cheers to... BACON IN SALADS 🥂

ingredients:

  • iceberg lettuce (so crisp! Romaine is great too!)

  • 1/2 pound cooked bacon

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/2 an 8oz block of pepper jack cheese cubed small (I love @cabotcheese )

  • a good handful of @whispssnacks Asiago & Pepper Jack crisps crushed up as croutons (I get these at @thrivemarket )

  • top with your favorite dressing! I love @hidden.valley ranch, @kraft_brand Italian, or @bolthousefarms blue cheese!

how to:

  1. Cook your bacon on the stove, to your crispness of choice!

  2. After cooked, place on a plate lined with paper towel to soak the grease.

  3. While it cools, chop your other ingredients.

  4. Top your lettuce with tomato, cheese, bacon & lastly @whispssnacks - enjoy! (If prepping beforehand, add whisps just before serving to ensure they stay crunchy!)
